Happy Sunday 😊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's Sunday, a day of gratitude, so I counted my blessings. Now as always am back with the stepping and trending stories before the day ends.

So I had quite a lazy morning😹, no walking just sleeping and resting. Not my fault as it was raining most of the morning. Then I woke up to a bit of stretching then got on with some house chores.
Throughout the day, I was following up on the trending news. Watched some you tube too.There were some interesting games in the EPL too.
My first and last walk was around the neighborhood ending up at the park🌲. Walked around enjoying the weak sunshine before heading back home🏡.
So now let's get into the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
In the middle east, Israel and Hezbollah have been urged to step back as UN warns of a catastrophe🙀.
Israeli military said about 150 rockets 🚀, missiles and other projectiles were fired from Lebanon on Saturday and Sunday night.
Some reached further than previous strikes, sending thousands of Israelis to bomb shelters and damaging homes near Haifa🙀.
On it's part, Israel launched its own strikes on targets in south Lebanon, which it said destroyed thousands of Hezbollah rocket launchers.
In Gaza, Israeli airstrikes kept going hitting schools killing at least 40 Palestinians😿. As always heart breaking scenes with the rubble and blood splatters😿.
Also trending, in a show off force, Israeli army has shut down Al Jazeera offices in Ramallah in the occupied west bank.
Staff were given ten minutes to get out before the gates were welded shut🙀.
They definitely don't like al Jazeera coverage on what they are doing in the area. So it's shut for next 45 days, probably won't reopen😿.
In the UK, PM Keir Starmer is under pressure over the economy. This as the labour party conference began in Liverpool. He has promised to protect public services and ruled out austerity measures.
Speaking of leadership, Sri Lanka trending as left leaning leader won the presidential election in what many have termed as a political paradigm shift.
Congratulations 🎉 to him 🎊 and let's hope he can turn that economy around after so much turmoil.
Not far off, Iran trending after 51 people were killed in a coal mine explosion😿.
It is believed to have been caused by methane gas deep underground. Rescue underway as bodies are retrieved amid the search for survivors.
Finally, in crazy weather, Japan has ordered thousands of people to evacuate Ishikawa prefecture, as torrential rain 🌧️ caused dangerous flooding🙀
The region is still recovering from a devastating earthquake in January😿. Everything will be ok, all's well that ends well 💯
