Happy fiery 🔥 Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my world of trees 🌲🌳. As always thank you so much for stopping by yet again. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and as it comes to an end am raring to go with my stepping and the trending stories of the day.
Let's get into all that and more, here we go again 💨.
So I kicked off the day with a little bit of stretching then I was out for probably twenty or so minutes around the neighbourhood. Quite sunny🌞 even though chilly
Next I got on with the chores then watched some YouTube and kept up with the trending stories.
Its been a sunny 🌞 day and that extended until this evening when I took my first and final walk. As usual slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. Well dressed and shielded from the chilly weather too😹.
So now let's get into the trending news of the day.
Starting off in Gaza, Israel is still withholding all aid including food, fuel and medicine to enter gaza😿. This to try and pressure Hamas into extending phase one of the ceasefire deal.
Meanwhile, Arab leaders met in Cairo to chart a way forward in reconstruction of Gaza. It was estimated it may take upto five years and a budget of close to $53 billion🙀.
Under the plan, Hamas would cede power to an interim administration and elections held in one year.
The plan will be broken down in different phases and Palestinians will not be removed from Gaza. Israel has rejected the plan as they want to go with the Trump plan of forcibly removing Palestinians and building a resort to be managed by US😹.
In the other war, Zelenskyy has appealed to Trump after military aid was suspended😿. He says he is ready to sign minerals deal with Trump that would give US access to Ukraine's rare earth minerals. Things look scary for Ukraine without US support.
Concerned European leaders to have an emergency meeting on Thursday after Ukraine's military aid suspension by Trump.
Across the pond, Canada says it will retaliate the 25% US tariff. PM Trudeau calling the move by Trump dumb and completely unjustified😹. Seems like a trade war has began.
Mexico too say they will retaliate the increased US tariffs. China the same thing after they were hit with 20% hike🙀.
Let's wait and see the effects of all these tariff wars on the prices of commodities.
Finally in crazy weather -Thousands of people were evacuated in Indonesia's capital Jakarta today after floods swamped the region😿, officials said, with heavy rain expected to continue until next week🙀. Lets hope things get better soon, all's well that ends well💯.
