My Actifit Report Card: July 26 2023.......Wednesday Walk ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐,
Happy hump day ๐๐ and a very warm welcome to my world ๐. As always glad you stopped by. I am definitely grateful for this day and as it draws to a close, it's time to take a look into how my stepping went and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Come on, let's get it done๐จ.
So as usual I had two major walks just like yesterday, starting off with the fast paced brisk walk around the neighbourhood. A short session that I enjoyed. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores and a little bit of resting. The afternoon saw me stop by the city centre for some errands. As always I squeezed in my usual nap before evening set in. Then it was time for the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze๐. Meanwhile in between the day I had been watching the trending stories on the news and also a little bit of crypto/twitter. let's get into that next
Locally, the usual political shenanigans ๐น kept going; the opposition leader has dismissed the president's offer to hold talks ๐.
On the continent, Niger trending as presidential guards are attempting to seize power๐. The president's supporters were out protesting the attempted coup, which seems likely to fail.
Globally, the US trending as the the federal reserve raised interest rates by 0.25% to 5.5%, taking it to the highest level since 2001. They hinted that another hike may come in the course of the year.
Also trending in the US, former intelligence officials and military personnel testified before Congress on the presence of UFO's๐น. So we can rest assured aliens do exist and are far smarter than humans
Up in Canada, Justin Trudeau has unveiled a cabinet shuffle in what he termed a major reset. The changes come as Trudeau's liberals face drop in public support amid housing crisis and rising cost of living.
Finally in crazy weather, the wild fires in Algeria have been controlled. Though the destruction is massive, some people have been arrested and will be charged for deliberately starting some of those fires.
Down in Australia, volunteers were hard at work helping free a group of whales stranded on a beach. Let's hope they will free them all๐ฏ.
