My Actifit Report Card: January 9 2025.........Throwback Thursday 👣💨🍃🙌👏💯🙏😇👼💞😴💤☕⛅🎼🎶👌✨🌠

Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's take it away 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty cloudy and windy as I made my way around.
It was a little chilly compared to yesterday, but I had on warm clothes😹.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was still a little cloudy as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, the blood bath continued with 22 Palestinians killed across the strip😿. More than 46,000 have now been killed so far with many more still unaccounted for. Meanwhile hospitals are struggling with fuel shortages.
Not far off, Lebanon trending as lawmakers voted and appointed Army chief, Joseph Auon as president after two years of political deadlock.
In Europe, US secretary of state, Anthony Blinken met foreign ministers of European countries in Rome, Italy to discuss the future of Syria and the way forward now that the new administration is in control.
Meanwhile in Ramstein, Germany US secretary of defence Lloyd Austin met Ukranian president Zelensky as he pledged $500 million in military aid to assist Ukraine in its war with Russia.
Speaking of Germany, Elon musk has hosted leader of far right AFD party on his X social media ahead of next month's election, urging viewers to vote for her, otherwise things would get very much worse in Germany🙀.
Meanwhile, former US president Jimmy Carter has been honoured with a state funeral in Washington DC. All five living US presidents including Trump attended the service. Clinton, Bush, Obama and Biden.
Down in Venezuela, things got heated up as opposition leader Maria Corina Machado was arrested after protests in Caracas😿. She had come out of hiding as supporters protested tomorrow's inauguration of president Nicolas Maduro for a third term.
Everyone knows that election was quite a sham😹.
Finally, in crazy weather, the Los Angeles fire 🔥 remains uncontained. It has been termed as a historic firestorm. Strong winds are fanning the flames as close to 200,000 people have been evacuated. With over 209 homes destroyed😿.
Lets keep them in our prayers as we hope for the fire to be contained ASAP. All's well that ends well 💯
