Hallo Freunde,

Volles Haus beim Schönheitswettbewerb der Junior High School von Lobo. Solche Veranstaltungen finden in der zentralen Gemeindehalle statt, die direkt gegenüber dem zukünftigen monumentalen Gebäude liegt, das für die Verwaltung gebaut wird.
Inzwischen verstehe ich die Verwaltungsstruktur hier ein wenig. Lobo ist so etwas wie eine Amtsgemeinde, zu der auch einige umliegende Städte und Dörfer gehören. Deshalb gibt es hier auch so viele Schüler und sogar Studenten, denn hier gibt es auch ein College. Schulen gibt es aber auch in vielen Siedlungen der Umgebung, sogar mitten im "Dschungel".

Doch zurück zum Schönheitswettbewerb. Heute wurde aus 12 Paaren das Traumpaar gewählt. Ich war erstaunt, wie viel Aufwand dafür betrieben wurde, inklusive Catering, Bestuhlung, die sonst nicht in der Halle ist. Veranstaltungstechnik, die einer Abendveranstaltung würdig ist. Die Leute tun etwas für ihre Kinder, für ihre Gemeinde.
Aber ich habe keine Ahnung, wie das alles bezahlt wird.

Full house at the Lobo Junior High School beauty pageant. Such events are held in the central community hall, which is directly opposite the future monumental building that will be built for the administration.
By now, I understand the administrative structure here a bit. Lobo is something like an official municipality, which also includes some surrounding towns and villages. That's why there are so many pupils and even students here, because there is also a college here. But there are also schools in many settlements in the surrounding area, even in the middle of the "jungle".

But back to the beauty contest. Today the dream couple was chosen from 12 couples. I was amazed at how much effort was put into it, including catering, seating that is not usually in the hall. Event technology worthy of an evening event. People doing something for their kids, for their community.
But I have no idea how it all gets paid for.
