Jogging Tips for Beginners - Time Your Steps

in #actifit5 years ago

"If you wanna do something right, then timing is really important"

I dunno who said that, but it's something I really use myself to get things done properly while achieving results that I'd be proud of for a very long time. The results I've achieved by just sticking and being right on time have been really tremendous.

This is both in the field of sports, and other places I've found myself in the past. Now, I understand that a lot of us just feel like being lost in the game i.e in whatever we are doing.

While there's usually some sort of plus to it all, it doesn't always feel like it's the best to do. Being conscious of what you do at all times gives you the upper hand in all situations.

As such, I'm going to reiterate on the topic stated herein. It is really important that you make use of time when jogging, to make the whole exercise an achievable and never tiring one for you. Let's look at it basically.

I know a lot of people who get tired after jogging a few steps. Once it gets ahold of them, they just blank out and never continue. Once, twice, thrice and they forget all about it. The euphoria that comes with starting that would have been exciting and rewarding is lost and they have nothing else to hold onto.

However, when you pinpoint your weakest points when jogging, or how many minutes you can last at a stretch, you are able to set a timer around that period.

A Fitbit counting your steps might equally be useful. The aim is to ensure that it alerts you when you get close to your weakest points. That way, you can stop before you falter out completely, regain strength and then continue.

If you use a Fitbit device that counts your steps, you can continuously adjust, thereby increasing the number of steps you can take at a stretch which further increases your speed, and conditions your body positively.
