Jogging Tips for Beginners - Set A Goal
Set A Goal
When you start out on a task without having a solid plan, you are very likely to fail in that task that you have set for yourself. It's just like deciding to save some money everyday and you don't plan on where the money will come from, or put in measures to ensure that you don't spend the money extravagantly. If these are not taken into cognizance properly, you would fail in your plan even before you begin.
As such, there is a need for you to set a goal when you decide to indulge in jogging. If it's daily or weekly, it's all up to you to decide for yourself. You could write this down on your notice board, add to the sticky notes on your laptop or set a daily or weekly clock or calendar reminder.
If you are looking to reduce your weight, and probably work everyday, you can decide to jog for 30 minutes or an hour in the mornings before preparing for work. If you don't have that luxury of time in the morning, you can set your plans for weekends and jog during the weekends for an hour or two.
With your goal and plan in place, you will remain focused and motivated over a long period of time. You will also build up your endurance levels which will see you jogging for longer periods without losing your breath or getting tired out.
Music of the Day
My music award of the day goes to Ed Sheeran - I See Fire. Watching the music video on YouTube made the difference for me. From the comments, I realize that the video cuts in this music video was taken from The Hobbit.
The Hobbit was produced in 2013, but I never got to watch it. I still hope that one day I can get to watch it. It reminds me somewhat of Eragon, the Dragon Rider. The village, ancient settings, the war and the dragons are always adds in a movie that makes the difference for me.
I See Fire by Ed Sheeran was written by the musician for Peter Jackson, the Director of the Hobbit movie. This song was played in the ending credits of the Desolation of Smaug movie. The song is usually described as Ed Sheeran's emotional response to the movie.
I love the song mainly because of how emotional the sounds are. Slow beats, and emotional which can accompany you on days you are sad or heartbroken. However, it also has lyrics that I do not really understand, possibly due to the fact that I am yet to watch any of these movies.
