my phone is in full privacy mode and the app isn't allowed to track steps or location or anything unless I have it actually launched and let it run in the background. But today, well yesterday that is, I started the app somewhere around lunchtime and had it running all day while doing other stuff... I usually only just track my actual walk-walking here.
