Season of acquisition; trending buzzword

in #acquisition6 years ago (edited)

The opportunities and possibilities for entrepreneurs are surging as the word acquisition is emerging as a buzz word in the arena of entrepreneurship. Giant companies formulate market studies and refer the recent statistics for the acquisition of entrepreneurships. Regardless of the continent, the country, multimillionaire companies acquire entrepreneurships in the light of potential and value of the entrepreneur and his business.

The multinational information technology company IBM, acquired Red Hat for 33 billion dollars. The news that Careem, a middle east based Logistics and Transportation company was acquired by Uber for 3.1 billion dollars, intensifies the aspirations of burgeoning Startups. The entire status of the acquired company changes, listing from the employee salary to its management policy.

Maintaining a good business cycle of the entrepreneurship, besides the growth and profit, encourages such acquisitions by established companies which gradually moulds an enhanced facet and valuation for your company. The situation is synonymous to the idiom 'if you can't beat them, join them'. The giants acquire the growing companies when they foresee its growth beyond theirs. But remember, the startups and small entrepreneurships are unduly benefited from acquisitions.
