Source teacher's guide .
This is my work on achievement 3 , which is focused on 'plagiarism'.
What is plagiarism? First of all, to me plagiarism is unlawful and illegal use of other authors or writers ideas and writeup without acknowledging them.
While
According to the lesson I passed through. I was made to understand that - Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work.
Steps preventing plagiarism
There is a lot of ways to avoid the Plagiarism
- Check your content through plagiarism software.
- Review your paper by the experts
- Create the original Content.
How to cite a source
Citation
It is not sufficient to simply note that “text source is Wikipedia”. A link to the specific Wikipedia page where the content came from is required. If numerous sources were used, adding the source after each separate idea is recommended.
"Every paraphrased paragraph, sentence or idea should have a reference as close to it as reasonably possible to indicate its origin."
Example of Citation
Apples are a true super food in my opinion. "Researchers have long been aware of the potential for apple consumption to support balanced populations of bacteria in our lower digestive tract."
