Direct Plagiarism

Direct plagiarism is most usually defined as stealing elements of another writer's work without properly citing the source or removing quote marks. Often, while copying from a text, the individual doing so does not modify a single word. The plagiarist can also change sections of sentences or substitute his or her own words. It does, however, fall within the category of plagiarism.
Direct plagiarism is the most destructive of the several types of plagiarism.

Mosaic Plagiarism

In this situation, the plagiarist may have indicated the content's source. However, if the writer fails to acknowledge the quoted part or correctly place it between quotation marks, he or she is guilty of plagiarism.

Complete Plagiarism

In this situation, the writer takes the original write up or work of another writer and submits it as his or her own original work. This is the highest form of plagiarism.
This is a serious academic offence and can result to destruction of a writer's content or work.

Self Plagiarism

This is a type of plagiarism in which a writer plagiarizes another author's work. In this example, a writer uses a significant phase without naming , citing or crediting the author.
