ACHIEVEMENT2 BY @proto1 : BASIC SECURITY OF STEEMIT

Hi friends, I hope everyone is doing well? I'm in the person of @proto1.. Its my pleasure to partake in the task known as achievement task 2 . It's based on the steemit basic security keys. I never thought steemit is real . Initially I thought it was scam but it when I joined,it's rather the realistic cryptocurrency ever. I give thanks to my friends who spent their valuable time to explain what steemit is and how it works . Bravo to @silencewan, @massachusetts, @roma, @farhmade, @rabilu .
Steemit is a secure platform and therefore password and keys are required to perform activities. It's meant to protect the platform and prevent unauthorized logins. As a matter of fact, mastering those keys , what they are use for , and how to use them on the platform is highly necessary. It should be treated as confidentials information.
There are various different keys on steemit platform. Each keys comes with its set of functions. In order effectively use the platform, I deemed it necessary to learn each key and what it's use to do. These keys are necessary to be mastered in order to help in account recovery , login , etc. depending on that task at hand.
The following are the steemit keys , what the keys are use for , when and how to use the keys.
PRIVATE POSTING KEY : It is a key which is designed to be used by users to perform the day to Social activities on the platform such as editing, voting, muting , following other account, commenting,posting and resteeming.
PRIVATE ACTIVE KEYS: It refers to keys which are use purposely for task such as transferring money, vote witnessing, updating profile information and avatars, power up/down transactions, place market order and converting Steem Dollars. It is much related to the wallet aspect of the steemit account.
PRIVATE OWNER KEY :It the most important key among the keys and it should be used when it's really of demanding. The private owner key can change any account's key not excluding the owner key as well. It's use to retrieve account in terms of hacking or unauthorized logins. It recommend to saved offline for easy access when needed.
PRIVATE MEMO KEY : it is meant to receive encrypted information. It is advice that private memo key must secured as well . The private memo key is not less important as compared to the other keys .
MASTER KEY : It the most relevant key on the platform. It the first key to receive from steemit network through gmail address and it needs to be secured because , it can be use to hack into your account by another person. I will advise you have an offline copy of it.
TRON PUBLIC KEY: The tron public key is use in transfers . It is the address to which tokens you have hardly work on on the platform.
The second aspect of my write-up is going to forcuson another relevant information on the steemit platform which we need to know much about. It includes How To Power Up, How To Transfer A Token To Another Account and the Steemit Wallet.
Let's Start with How To Power Up on the steemit platform. This feature help make your account more standard on the steemit network. The steps are :
- Log onto your account
- Click on profile
- Select wallet
- Click on power up

• Enter amount to power up and confirm

How To Transfer A Token To Another Account
- select profile
- click on Power Up Button from the drop-down menu
- click on transfer on the from the bottom that appears
- Enter number and recipient's username
- Confirm

I would like to conclude my write-up on the STEEM WALLET. The steem wallet is made up of three steems. It includes steem, steem power and steem back dollar.
STEEM is a form of cryptocurrency. It is referred as liquid cryptocurrency . It is purposely use for internal transaction on the platform . The steem can be converted to steem electricity.
STEEM POWER:The steem power guarantee user to post and comment on the platform. It's converted to steem after four weeks.
STEEM BACK DOLLAR: it's a form of steem which can be traded for liquid steem . it's transferable to other accounts
