Achievement 2:Basic security on steemit by @donpearl 6-1-2022

Greetings to you all my great poeple of steemit worldwide, it is a privilege for me to participate in achievement 2 task, captioned "SECURITY ON STEEMIT".
I understand that security is all about being free from danger or threat .e.g staying at home with the door locked and feels safe or electrical devices or computerised devices set up for alarm and it can start alarming when someone tries to penetrate .Security can also be said to be being protected from being hurt. It can also be said to be branch of computer security that encompasses the internet ,browser security,website security,and network security as it applies to other applications or operating as a whole. Its objective is to establish rules and measures to use against attack over the internet. We have types of security and example of the things that can be secured.
On types of security, we have;
Internet security
Information security
Network infrastructure security etc.
Examples of the things that can be secured are;
Human lives
Documents
Properties
Computer devices etc
Security can be of a person eg a security man also known as a gateman or armed security officers etc. Security can also be social groups,objects and institutions,ecosystem or any other entity or vulnerable to unwanted trespass or unexpected attack.
It can also be said to be free from apprehension,anxiety,phobia, confidence of power, safety, certainty, assurance,reliability,dependability,solidness or even soundness. Source

with this brief details hope am able to convince you that i understand what security is all about therefore, i will be specific in answering all that i understood on basic security on steemit.

QUESTION 1: HAVE YOU RETRIEVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?
Yes i have, my steemit keys has been retrieved and they are well secured expecially my posting keys.
I secured them as soon as i finished signing up because they are already mine i.e my personal document,which is to be handled alone by me without any second or third party. It is allied as a long writing codethat is so difficult in memorising. So to make my answer brief, i can say that my steemit keys are safe and well kept and backup.

The keys are as follows;
Posting key
Active key
Owners key
Memo key
Master password .

QUESTION 2:DO YOU KNOW EACH OF THE KEYS FUNCTION AND RESTRICTION?
Yes indeed. I answered so because i have gotten bunch of tutorial from my mentor @beautybb. She is my mentor who taught me about the keys,their functions and appropriate time to use them. She tried her best,she gave me the absolute tutorial i need on how and when to use the keys. She is indeed a teacher. Even when is not convinient for her, she will put my interest ahead of hers and teach me. Therefore i can say capital YES i know my keys, their functions and their restrictions, even if am being woken up from a deep sleep, i know my keys. eg

THE MASTER PASSWORD: This is the key i can use to access my account and it must be stored in a safe place as an encryped document that is mine and can be handled by me alone. Therefore, am the only one that had access to it. It is also the only password i can use to secure all my keys, eg it can be used to recover my account ,it can also be used to derive all keys for my account including the owner key.

THE POSTING KEY: This can be said to be my everyday login key which permit me to post, comment, edit, vote, resteem and follow or mute other accounts.

THE OWNER KEY: This key is used when necessary. It is the most powerful key thay can change any key of an account which includes the owner key. It is best stored offline and can be used to recover a compromised account .

THE MEMO KEY: This key, memo key is besically used for encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.

ACTIVE KEY: The active key is the most sensible key for task such as transferring fund,power up/down transaction,converting steem dollars,voting for witnesses,updating profile details and avatar and placing market order.

QUESTION 3:HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER KEY PASSWORD?
Of course, i know very well that my master password is part of my personal property and also a confidential document that shouldn't be disclosed to anyone, therefore as i mentioned earlier, i will store it in my offline storage, then print out a hardcopy of it and keep in a secrete and safe place where no one will have access to except myself.

QUESTION 4:DO YOU KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER YOUR STEEM FUND TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT?
Yes i do. Eg if i want to transfer a token to another steem user account,i will log to my wallet by logging with my posting active key,then click on steem, click transfer,next add the user name and the amount i want to transfer.

I will make sure the user name is correct before sending,then click ok. Eg assuming i want to transfer to @beautybb

QUESTION 5:DO YOU KNOW HOW TO POWER UP YOUR STEEM TOKEN?
Yes,to power up my steem token i will click on the icon that covers my profile, then click wallet .Example, i want to power up

CONCLUSION
To be sincere, i confidently said that i comprehended on what my mentor taught me about different keys that is being used on steemit basic security. I have known more on how to make transaction and power up token on my steemit wallet.
