The koksi beetle is one of the small insects of the Coleoptera order. This insect is easily recognizable from its small round appearance with its colorful backs as well as on some speckled species. In Western countries, these insects are known as ladybirds or ladybugs.

Most people know the beetle koksi as ladybug, because its size and shield are also hard, but this beetle is not at all from the type of Ladybug (Hemiptera).
