Selamat siang sahabat stemian semuanya, kali ini saya akan bercerita tentang leusong(red.Aceh) atau lesung.

Leusong(red.Aceh) atau dalam bahasa Indonesia disebut Lesung, di Aceh dikenal ada beberapa jenis Leusong yaitu : leusong pade yaitu lesung pada penumbuk padi, leusong dapu atau leusong jaroe yaitu lesung yang dipakai di dapur.

Leusong atau lesung umumnya dibuat dari tiga jenis bahan baku, yakni ada yang berbahan baku kayu, ada yang berbahan baku batu yakni dipahat dari batu dan ada yang berbahan baku besi.

Khusus untuk yang berbahan baku kayu, haruslah dipilih kayu yang kuat dan tahan lama seperti bak panah (pohon nangka), bak manee, bak kupula (pohon tanjung) dan jenis-jenis kayu keras lainnya.Sekian dan terima kasih.
