Akibat hujan deras yang melanda Kabupaten Pidie dan sekitarnya pada minggu (25/8) pukul 21.00 Wib hingga pukul 22.30 wib mengakibatkan banjir di gampong Meuleuweuk,kecamatan Peukan Baro.

Hujan deras yang berlangsung kurang lebih satu jam setengah tersebut mengakibatkan sungai Meuleuweuk meluap hingga masuk ke rumah-rumah Warga. Luapan sungai mulai terjadi sekitar pukul 23.45 Wib. Sampai tulisan ini diposting air masih menggenangi jalan dan beberapa rumah warga. Semoga banjir ini cepat surut agar warga Meuleuweuk bisa beristirahat dengan nyaman.

*Due to the heavy rain that hit Pidie and surrounding areas on the week at 21.00 WIB until 22.30 pm caused flooding in Meuleuweuk village, Peukan Baro sub-district. Heavy rain that lasted approximately one hour and a half resulted in the river Meuleuweuk overflowed into the homes Residents. The river flooding started at around 23:45 WIB. Until this paper was posted the water still inundated the road and some houses residents. Hopefully this flood quickly receded so that residents Meuleuweuk can rest comfortably.*
