Traditional Aceh Pounder Tool - JEUNGKI
The current digital era, a lot of work can be done very practical and fast, as well as factories that produce staple foods that almost all work is done by robots.
Today people around the world are almost 80% dependent on robots, traditional equipment has long been abandoned, as well as JEUNGKI (traditional rice pounder of Aceh society) even for some Aceh society today is not familiar with this one traditional tool, while JEUNGKI is a part of the life of the Acehnese people who had long existed before the existence of advanced equipment as it is today.

Jeungki is a traditional tool made of wood of choice with a length of 2.5 meters which is used to pound rice into flour or so forth. In the past, jeungki was almost in every house of the people of Aceh and at certain times people would work together to work together while chatting (the kinship atmosphere is so warm). But nowadays people prefer to be practical by buying cookie-making ingredients in the supermarket and the cohesiveness among people is slowly fading.

Thanks for the memory...
Thanks for visiting, did you create exactly the same as this (done manually by humans) or already have a special machine @senorcoconut

Nice post
Andai tertulis juga dalam bahasa indonesia yang baik, tentu ini menjadi komsumsi domestik untuk membaca.
Although my English is very bad, but I always try to write in English (when studying and want to tell the world about aceh). I am also often laughed at because the language I use here is not the mother tongue.
