" STORY GRANDFATHER AND THIEVES FRUIT PAPAYA "
I want to start our reflections this time by reminding one of life's stories that may be scattered in front of our eyes. The story is about a simple grandfather, living as a humble villager. One afternoon, he found the papaya tree in front of his house has been fruitful. Although only two but have yellowed and ready to be harvested. He planned to pick the fruit the next day. However, when morning arrived, he found that one of his pythons was stolen.
Grandpa was so sad, until his wife was surprised. "Cook just because a papaya alone you are so gloomy" said the wife.
"That's not what I'm sad about," replied the grandfather, "I thought, how hard it is to take our papaya. He must be secretly in the middle of the night so as not to get caught. Not to mention have to climb hard to be able to pick it .. "
"From that Bune" continued the grandfather, "I will borrow the ladder and I put it under our papaya tree, hopefully he will come back tonight and will have no trouble picking up the other one".
But when the morning came back, he found that a living papaya was still there with his ladder without shifting a bit. He tries to be patient, and hopes that the thief will show up again tonight. But the next morning, still the papaya fruit is still in place.
In the afternoon, the grandfather arrives a guest who brought a large papaya fruit in his hand. He had never known the visitor. Long story short, after talking long, when about to say goodbye the guest was very sorry to admit that is who has stolen his fruit pepaya.
"Actually" said the guest, "the next night I want to steal the remaining papaya fruit. But when I found a ladder there, I was awake and since then I was determined not to steal anymore. For that, I return your papaya and to make up for my mistake, I give you the new papaya I bought in the market for you ".
Wisdom that can be taken from the story of inspiration above, is about sincerity, patience, virtue and a positive outlook on life.
Can we still be positive when we lose something we love willingly looking for the good side and forget the pain of a "calamity"?
"Verily, the man is very disobedient, ungrateful to his Lord, and indeed the man is witnessing his (his) self, and indeed he is very grinning because of his love for the treasure.
