Is it true that monkeys do not eat mangosteen?
Why did I forget to ask this question to the mangosteen seller?
Actually this question has been long I want to ask, but always forget.
The cause of this question are the tales that are often told about a group of hungry monkeys who search for fruit in the forest until later found the mangosteen tree with its dense fruits.
The mangosteen looks attractive and beautiful, but when the monkeys try to bite it, the bitter taste of mangosteen peels makes them dislike the fruit and leave it. Because of that, monkeys do not eat mangosteen.
That's the fairytale.
Perhaps it is true, the monkeys do not eat the fruit nicknamed as the queen of fruits, but the tale teaches that one does not have to be discouraged when something first encountered is bitterness or difficulty because after that he will find sweetness and success.
So, the wise man says: Do not be like a monkey eat a mangosteen; quickly leave something when the first one encountered is not what it wants to be.
