Happy Birthday Boomerang drummer whose life is rarely highlighted by the media.
His long name was Farid Martin Badjeber who was born in the city of Manado on March 18, 1973. When he was a small grader at SD Negeri 1 Tataaran in Tondano (North Sulawesi), he graduated from Gresik Junior High School to Semen Gresik (East Java). Graduated from Junior High School, Farid moved to Depok (West Java) and attended Yaspen High School. Graduated from high school, Farid moved to Surabaya and attended the University of 17 August. Farid Martin idolized the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam.
Farid's idol musician is the "quirky" superstar of the 70s-80s David Bowie. In addition to David Bowie, Farid also idolized Jazz drummer Steve Gadd. And there is 1 more favorite drummer Farid is a drummer Jazz is also black who called Omar Hakim. When Pet Agusty came out of Boomerang due to musical differences in 1994, the Boomerang sound engineer Mas Tony introduced Farid to Boomerang personnel to replace Pet Agusty.
Hence when Boomerang released his first album left only 3 personnel only and Farid new received by Boomerang on January 1, 1995. Farid entry gives fresh wind to Boomerang song2 increasingly popular and his name became famous like today. Farid's excellent drumming can be heard on Boomerang songs such as "Brain Contamination (K.O.)", "O-ya", "Hell", "Tragedy", "Bring Me" etc. In the 2nd Boomerang album to the 5th that Farid's drum beat is really nice and classy.
When he entered Boomerang a year later, Farid had the opportunity to appear in front of Mr. Big when Boomerang became the opening band of Mr. concert. Big in Surabaya in May 1996.Farid including drummer who is not too fond of seeking sensation in various media, so rarely appear in public.
