A Short Note from An Opening of Aceh Cultural Week (PKA) VII

Yesterday, my husband accompanied me to go to Harapan Bangsa Stadium to see the opening ceremony of Pekan Kebudayaan Aceh (PKA) VII or the 7th Aceh Cultural Week. This event is held once in 4 years in Ace.

Arriving there, we had to surround several stadium doors until finally we were able to enter. Of course because that night, a crowd of people also wanted to see the excitement of opening.

My husband and I finally got seats. I heard good lyric as theme song of PKA. I immediately enjoyed the caravan from 23 districts and cities in Aceh. Then followed by remarks from Nova Iriansyah to represent Aceh Governor. In his presentation, he explained that PKA VII was a moment of cultural performance and a means of reflection on development to strengthen the sense of brotherhood of the Acehnese people.

Then, Muhajir Efendi as Education Minister represented the President officially opened the event. In addition, Muhajir gave the highest appreciation for the implementation of this PKA.

After hearing the remarks, a cultural performance that started from Guel Dance. Seeing cultural performances is the main reason I actually wanted to come here.
