Rumah Adat Aceh The relics of the early Acehnese who are now almost gone with the progress of civilization, and the remaining Aceh House there are several locations in Banda Aceh. This traditional house has been abandoned by the Aceh government in the complex of Acehnese Museum Office and in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) and Rumah Cut Nyak Dhien in Lampisang Village which is located about 10 km from downtown Banda Aceh. This Aceh house consists of 44 columns and has 2 front and back stairs. If you are visiting Banda Aceh, take the time to stop at the Indigenous House Aceh_ relics of the former Acehnese and see the condition of Rumah Adat Aceh which made the Museum where some tools used by the people of Aceh earlier. Among them if we look under the house of Adat Aceh there are some relics of ancient times such as Meriam, Place store rice (Krong Pade), hound pounding of rice (Jeungki), Geunta big bells.

From the beliefs of individuals or groups living at that time, had a significant influence on the architecture of houses built by the people of Aceh first. This can be seen from the architecture Rumoh Aceh, Nanggrou Aceh Darussalam Province. In general, Rumoh Aceh_ is a stilt house with a pole height between 2.50 - 3 meters, consisting of three or five spaces, with one main room called vines. Rumoh (aceh language) with three spaces has 16 columns, while Rumoh with five spaces has 24 columns. Modifications from three to five spaces or vice versa can be done easily, simply add or remove the one on the left or right side of the house. This section is usually called Seramoe likot (aceh language) or back porch and Seramoe reunyeun or porch porch, which is the entrance to the House which is always on the east.
