A family of 5 members has adopted religion from Hinduism in Feni to Islam. Liton Chandra Das, a resident of Sultanpur area of ​the city, accepted the religion of the Prophet Swaruprishna with wife Swarasati Das and three children on behalf of the court on Thursday.

Their house is in Gopalpur village under Bijbagh union of Senbagh upazila of Noakhali district. They passed the traditional religion in Islam by adopting affidavit in the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court of Feni.

After accepting Islam, Liton Chandra Das was named after Mohammad Ali and his wife Swarasati Das was named Sumaiya Akter.
