The sheer out of touchiness of leftist academics
Universities since at least the 2000s have become marxist indoctrination centers, and mainly because most college professors are out of touch marxists, especially those in the gender studies department, their students also become, well, marxists, and now they've got an entire army of braindead NPCs, ready to get offended and triggered at over anything, from politically incorrect jokes, to terror attacks, except those did by "The religion of peace", and they don't discriminate, they would get triggered over an interview that happened in 1971, or a tweet posted just a few seconds ago, policies legislated centuries ago or or bills just introduced to congress, but they do ignore some otherwise extremely triggering events if it doesn't fit their narrative.
This is nothing new. We've already seen countless students, which come from many different fields of study but mostly gender studies and sociology, posting on twitter almost every minute about how accepting, progressive, and tolerant they are, while at the same time, being totally intolerant of the intolerant, conservative and countless ists, phobes, and oppressors, and probably one of the most famous of them is of course, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has basically almost became a brand of the democratic party, and the favorite punching bag for not only the republicans, but also Libertarians. While the army of socialist millennials exists partially because such things as student loan debt and their inability to find a job, Their delusions of a cultural marxist utopia and their church of victimology and oppressionism came from the elitist safe spaces of universities, which have banned persons like Ben Shapiro, Richard Spencer, And others from speaking because of their students. And I don't agree completely with neither Richard Spencer or Ben Shapiro, but I do believe that they should be allowed to spread their message and let others hear their idea, but of course, to countless NPCs who are living in the echo chamber of progressivism and SOCIAL JUSTICE, who ironically claim how we should all listen to the minorities, refuse to listen to anybody who disagrees with them, and ask, no, demand for them to be censored, silenced, and banned.
But of course, like father like son, the upper-middle class professors at your average liberal university are also, cultural marxists accept they mostly became one either reading through the communist manifesto, and didn't use their massive intellect to see it's flaws, and take it as the preferred system by which everything should be run, or through peer pressure from their fellow marxist colleagues. Also they earn enough so that even with sky high taxes they would still be able to live, and still not on a level where taxes really effect their business or profits, because they don't own any business and don't want any more profits. And of course, future professors are going to be todays students, and what don't become professors will becomes something else, and that will expend the ideology of cultural marxism to more and more place, and boom, now the entire mainstream media, countless companies, and even some political parties have signed on to the social justice deal, and that's how we got here. The academia has made a generation of soy boys, SJWs, feminists, most importantly, weak men, and I don't know how strong does the next generation have to be, to be able to go through the bad times, and make good times happen.
