No Need to Provide Your Aadhaar Card for buying SIM Card

In this system, the owner of Aadhaar number will get a temporary number of 16 digits. This ID needs to be created on UIDAI website. Virtual ID can be created from July 1 2018.

Buying a mobile SIM or any other service you do not have to provide the Aadhaar number. Instead of provide Aadhaar card UIDAI introduce virtual IDs. This ID can be used to update KYC. Because of this, people can doing anything without provide the Aadhaar number. This method starting finally from 1 September 2018.

If you use virtual ID, mobile company will not be able to find all your information. They will only get the required information. This will save the common man from different types of cheating.

The 16-digit virtual ID will remain valid for 1 day. After that the number will not work. After 1 day, you will need to create a virtual ID again. This process is to be finished by logging in to UIDAI's website.

How to create a VID ?

1. Visit the UIDAI website to create a VID.
2. Then click on the Generated VID option
3. After this, press the submit button with your 12 number of Aadhaar number.
4. After that an OTP will be on your mobile phone.
5. OTP will give you the VID on the website of UIDAI.
6. Your phone can also be receive SMS.
