Review
You will see youth sentiment at its best in this film..
When I heard that a live action by Dora was coming out, I couldn't wait to watch it. Last week was finally there and I can tell you this film certainly does not disappoint. It is top entertainment for the younger viewers among us, contains a number of exciting elements, but is above all a smooth film that will certainly not disappoint the Dora enthusiasts.
Everyone knows the animated series of Dora the Explorer , the educational and funny children's series that teaches children English. This production of Paramount Players is a feature film about Dora, entirely with songs and Spanish words to repeat. Certain parts of the animation series are processed in a funny way, such as Dora talking to the camera, and her parents wondering who she is talking to. Dora comes up with a song for every situation, which really fits her character. Despite what the trailer makes you believe, Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a fun film especially for children. It may seem like it is fun for older people too, but it is primarily a funny film for children and young people who grew up with the Dora the Explorer series .
Dora and the Lost City of Gold' takes you from an American high school to the breathtaking nature in the jungle. The decor of this film is really beautiful and beautifully portrayed. Only for that would I go back again. The director has also kept many components from the series alive and upgraded a bit. As we are used to from the Dora series, the Mexican girl likes to teach her audience something. In this film, this is designed in a catchy and fun way because Dora vlogs. Because these well-known aspects have been preserved, this film is guaranteed to bring a sense of nostalgia to the previous generation of Dora enthusiasts.
Concluding remarks
'Dora and the Lost City of Gold' is a smooth, exciting and certainly funny film. The ultimate youth sentiment on the big screen!
Although I really enjoyed the movie, I did expect it to be more of a teen movie because of the trailer I had watched before. I would not give that age category to the film itself. For me it was a bit too 'childish', so I would find it more suitable for primary school students.
This film about Dora from Paramount Players is not in-depth, but that is not its purpose either. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is an exciting production for children and young people who are familiar with Dora the Explorer, and that is the target group. Dora and the Lost City of Gold fits in well with the target group and is therefore fun to watch with children around 8 to 15 years old!
