Steem-Powered Publication Workshop in NYC
On Saturday, August 4, 2018 - our team held a presentation showcasing @creativecrypto and how the Magazine uses @steempress to connect a front end on WordPress to the Steem blockchain. The workshop was held within The Crypto Renaissance Exhibition in Brooklyn, NY. We had a nice modest turnout and some fantastic discussion throughout the afternoon.

The Benefits of Magazines Powered by Steem
The workshop covered the process of how all kinds of publications stand to benefit by being built atop the Steem blockchain. Additionally, our team covered our strategy for using Steem and how it is also extremely beneficial for our readership. Here's a walkthrough of some of the conversation we will have:
Our first core point - the Steem blockchain provides an infrastructure to build a whole new kind of website. Information now published on our interface will be forever preserved on this growing data network, one that is immutable, fast, global, and monetized by the native cryptocurrency Steem.
Secondly, @steempress is a streamlined plugin that connects a WordPress blog with a Steem account, allowing content creators to publish directly onto the blockchain while preserving the front-end functionality of WordPress. Creating a separate interface allows creative and entrepreneurial initiatives to tailor a much more personally fitting Steem-blog. It allows access to the robust components of the site builder - i.e. SEO optimization, multiple pages and front-end design flexibility.
Lastly, it provides one of the best mechanisms to seamlessly transfer millions of content creators and organizations that already utilize WordPress onto the blockchain. Despite the complex and diverse benefits of using a blockchain system, the difference in user experience from the WordPress user’s perspective is a simple checkbox. Integrating an established and functional blockchain as an almost invisible backend infrastructure will help focus the discussion on actionable integration rather than the rabbit hole of blockchain tutorials and explanations.

The Crypto Renaissance Details
This public exhibition is a showcase of the tools and resources built for creative professionals on the Steem blockchain and specifically how @sndbox members have integrated them into their practice and daily work. The exhibition will be open to all visitors for several weeks and serve as a free and public space for New Yorkers and others to learn about the Steem blockchain, the world of crypto, and immediately begin converging their creative work with the Steem ecosystem.

Join a community with heart based giving at its core
These are the workshops that all of us who belong to steem need. Too bad he lives far away! I had read about WordPress and @steempress and the plugin, but everything seems so complicated to me. I don't think I've been properly explained. The only thing that is clear to me is that there is a better way to monetize your publications and that to have an account you have to pay a certain amount of money, I'm going to have to check the links they leave around here, because I am really interested in having my WordPress account.
This workshop should have been interesting! WordPress is setting the trend and has advantages for everyone.
I have a blog about Crypto. I have definitely go to try the steempress plugin.
