Gerhard Uhlenbruck is a German physician and aphorist. (An aphorism is a single thought, a judgement or a wisdom of life, which can consist of only one sentence or a few sentences independently).
After his research stays in London and Cambridge, he was appointed head of the Department of Biochemistry and Tumorimology at the Max Planck Institute in Cologne.
Later, he worked in the field of "prevention through sport" and running therapy. In these areas he also worked as a lecturer.
