Week 4 - January Curation Report of Team True Colours 3

1. Preface

Where have we been? We visited: Earth, World Wide Web, Blockchain, Steemit, The Ozarks, Located everywhere, In my Kingdom, Twenty nine palms, dort wo Bananen wachsen, Head Block, Your Heart, The Foraging, Monkey World, City where meteorites fall, Outa' Space, Cosmos, I'm here, Cloud 7, Land's End, Heaven and many more. They have something in common.

As it turns out in Team True Colours' vision and mission, we prefer to reward creative comments. Creativity can be in the form of writing or images. Our curation portion is indeed more for comments than posts. This week saw a drop in the total number of curations, but that's because the team is giving more rewards than ever to each curated item, although the vote weight difference still applies with certain factors in mind.

This is the report on the implementation of the fourth week of January curation activities by "Team True Colours 3" in statistical form.

2. The Statistics

12 posts and 135 comments to make a total of 147 were curated in the 4th week. As always, this report is made by taking into account various key aspects related to the implementation of these curatorial activities, namely in terms of Club, Country, Community, Continent, and Gender.

2.1. The Club Count

The following images show the number of daily and the total (weekly) post and comments curated by club. Click on each image to see in full resolution.

This author talks about women's rights based on her own experiences. She has described the laws that women have in some countries well. Women cannot do the job they want, cannot travel the way they want, cannot wear the clothes they want. So such laws are implemented in some countries and women are very suffered and saddened by them. According to the author, she now travels alone on buses. She has shown the readers that the laws regarding women have changed quite a bit. In fact, there are no such laws for women in our country. In our country, women have equal rights like men.

The author has shared a very touching statement about her parents with the readers. It is no secret that it will bring tears to the eyes of anyone who reads it. Reading her comments will confirm that she is very sad about the loss of her parents. She also teaches us a very valuable lesson that we realize the pain of losing something and its value only after it is lost. What she says is true. We do not realize the value of someone until they are with us.

The thoughts expressed by mikitaly in this comment show the very complex state of activity on the Steem blockchain. She notes the dilemma that Steemians face, between interacting with comments or just focusing on creating posts and earning profits. The angst she expresses is arguably representative of almost all Steemians. She wrote, "From what I’ve seen, most people come to the platform, publish their posts, and then leave. Of course, we all have time constraints and real lives outside of here. But what these users don’t understand is that if they want to keep earning from Steemit, they also need to contribute to sustaining the platform. ..."

In this article, jaynie expresses disappointment with some of the things she has encountered during her blogging activities on the Steem blockchain, especially what happened to her son, who according to her received bad treatment from some Steemian users with restrictions that she finds unreasonable. In her first post on Steem in the last 5 months, jaynie clearly expressed her anger. She wrote, "Not everything has to be groundbreaking. Sometimes people just want to express themselves, and that should be okay!!!! Let people be. Let them create, engage, or not engage in ways that feel natural to them. Let the community evolve organically without judgement, rules, or pressure."

@kozanozdra shares his favourite British Rock band MUSE and explains why specifically this band is his favourite. He shows interest in the other participants and shares more music while engaging with them. He wrote, "The British band MUSE, I love that these guys don't hold back and don't conform to imposed standards - they experiment, and with every new album, you can never be sure what you'll hear. Their music incorporates not just rock but also jazz, electronic, classical, and even blues. Undoubtedly, they are some of the biggest experimenters of our time, and it's no surprise they have a ton of awards, including Grammys."

@adeljose takes part in a discussion which is the result of the announcement of the Commenting moderators in the freewriters community where not only commenting but also teaching is discussed and the will to learn and improve posting and commenting on Steemit. " ... the idea is not only to learn, but to put it into practice every day, otherwise, what they have learned can be forgotten. Many users have little discipline, they do not have clear objectives or goals, they are not consistent, and they tend to get discouraged quickly for some cause or reason, all this prevents them from developing an outstanding activity on the platform, or at least, a decent one."

@grebmot is an active commenter and a discussion arises regarding his post where he asks about the ability to download one's Steemit history. "Glad you mentioned proof. That's a very important point actually. Especially when you're starting to become a little more serious about writing...The thieving with AI is one of my worries too, all more reason to have receipts. Maybe there will be some thing eventually allowing writers to reverse engineer where AI got some of its content from."

Both of my nominees for this week were "on fire". @mikitaly and @jaynie. 👍👍 Both talked about the same topic: Steem blogging, on different focus area.

Yes, your two choices are excellent. 👌👌

All the nominees, I think, are excellent. They deserve to be there. I just say that both my nominations have something in commons. 😃 And yes I love chat about Steem blockchain, there are so many things to learn, to know, some I found are very exciting.

Thank you very much @aneukpineung78 for selecting me.
I'm glad you liked my comment, maybe I was too blunt, but it's the sad truth. Many users don't realise that the platform works if we all do our part.

Many thanks to the team, especially @wakeupkitty for selecting me for the top, I am always ready to promote positive activities and thoughts in favor of the platform.

A hug.

You are welcome sir 😊

Thank you for taking the time to discuss several points with us on how to improve and make Steemit the best platform to be.

It's a great honor that being nominated . It made me happy and promise to do better than before. I just hope to have enough time . Ramadan is coming and a lot of preparation to do.

Where is a will is a way and if you can't it's better not to make such a promise or?

What a surprise!
I didn't think I would find myself in the selection of the best posts/comments.
I'm very happy, thank you very much.

If I don't read the statistics wrong, the Italian community received a lot of votes for comments.
This is really a great satisfaction!

We always try to create interaction between our members to support each other precisely through comments, to make our community active and lively.

A post without comments remains a bunch of words that nobody has read.

Your comment will really be useful to other users. And you didn't read anything wrong. There are many users in the Italian community who post good comments. We support such quality comments.

My pleasure dear 💕

Yes, of course, our work does not end with just posting articles in this community. We should read other users' articles and make good comments on them. I have seen that you make good comments on other users' articles every day. I appreciate it.

Thank you, Team True Colours 3 and @nishadi89, for finding my comment deserves a position in your team report!
For that, I am honoured!
I have noticed @wakeupkitty supported my comment so a big hug to her for that and appreciate her courage!
