My lunch - White rice with tomato sauce and fried plantain
White rice with tomato-sauce (stew) and plantain is a common food in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. It is rich in carbohydrate. It is a delicious delicacy to take for lunch as it energizes you to continue with your daily activity. I actually prefer taking mine with enough plantains as it makes the meal more delicious. Do not forget your proteins. I ate mine with fried proteinous fish. Take this meal with water as water helps to aid digestion.

First of all I want to say thank you my boss as she's the one who brought the food. So in my food presentation, I have here jollof rice one side and rice and stew one side. I think the reason why she mixed it is because the jollof wasn't enough so she double it with what's available.

Wait, have seen this type of rice before, is it basmati rice because basmati rice is extra long when cooked?
Yes I also thinks, it's basmati rice and this rice is of very good quality.We also use that type of rice.By the way which type of rice you use?
I use normal but imported rice, it's short grain but basmati has good quality than it. Am selling different basmati rice , tilda, Aeroplane, tropical and lal-qilla. The lal-qilla is suitable for diabetic and obesity. But they are all long grain. No matter how long you cook them they are always separate that's one thing I like about the rice.

Yes I understood but in Pakistan most of the people like long rice.More probably they like the rice that is oily and brown.😂
Dear I also like this but I know that this is not good for health.Hehe I will work on myself to eat healthy rice.

I love raw onions on top of rice. It tastes well actually!
Anyway we all have preferences.
I also like onions on the top of rice because of the taste.I also pour Chaat Masala on rice as l love spices.😅But u r also true that everyone have different preferences/choices.

Well, I don't know Chaat masala. I know Curry masala. It's a really nice spice for foods😊
