How are you?Hope so everyone would be safe and sound just like me as I am also safe Alhamdulillah....
Today this is I am organizing another interesting contest so that I may see some of the most interesting entries.
- Share your favourite music artist which relates to sad music genre and share one song of that artist in comment section!
Here are a list of guidelines that you have to follow for participating in this contest!!

Lagu ayah yang dinyanyikan oleh tri suaka merupakan sebuah lagu yang mempunyai arti begitu dalam dan menyentuh bagi saya pribadi yang mana setiap saya mendengarkan lagu ini air mata saya keluar dengan sendirinya tanpa saya sadari,ini semua karena begitu rindunya saya dengan sosok ayah yang telah tiada 23 tahun lalu dimana waktu itu usia saya masih 14 tahun ini bagaikan mimpi bagi saya karena tidak mungkin menurut saya ayah telah tiada tapi apa mau dikata Allah lebih sayang kepada ayah,hari-hari saya lalui bersama ibu dan adik-adik.sebagai anak yang tertua saya berjuang untuk mencari nafkah bersama ibu demi membiayai adik-adik saya yang Masi kecil-kecil dan saya juga memutuskan untuk berhenti sekolah karena bagi saya keluarga itu yang utama.maka dari itu sampai

The saddest song my entire life is about the favorite song of my mother who was already in heaven last 2020. She died during pandemic announcement but not died because of the virus. About the song, originally sang by Victor Wood, she always sand it when she cuddled my sibling for sleep. Until I learned that song by myself from listening from her mouth singing. There are two songs she loved most and this is one of those two songs. On my God, I miss het voice now.
And this is the song my mother and at the same time my favorite sad song too. It's 1960s song by Victor Wood maybe.

My Homeland A sad, patriotic song.
How are you? I hope everyone's well.
I would like to discuss my favourite sad song, "My Homeland" ==> mawtini in arabic . Palestinian poet Ibrahim Toukan's "My Homeland" poignantly captures the suffering and nostalgia of a divided homeland. lyrics speak of the pain of displaced people and the yearning for peace in a war-torn country, describing the devastation suffered by children and families.
Through the eyes of a child, the song symbolises the innocence lost in such a heartbreaking environment. The song reminds us of the human cost of war. To me, My Homeland is a call for justice, peace and protection of the innocent. It reminds us of the importance of protecting the voiceless from war.
It is one of the most poignant pieces of music ever written. Thanks, @khursheedanwar , for organising and giving me a chance to share. I can't wait to see other people's entries and hear their touching music.

Lagu ini akn mengurai air mata berjatuhan bagi pendengar yang menghayati dan merenunginya.
It's one of my favourite songs, despite being a sad song (who knows me, knows I'm a hilarious person, so it's difficult I stop to listen to a sad song, but this one is an exception). It's the story of cousin Juan (El primo Juan: in English it would be The cousin John). He got a stomach cancer and the doctors were afraid to tell him the truth. But his cousin knew. As the cancer was terribly painful and chemo struck the cousin Juan, the doctors prescribed him marijuana (despite it's a dangerous drug in the case of healthy people, patients suffering from certain cancers and under chemo benefit from marijuana, as it treats their pain), in addition to a very strict diet: no whatever meat, no whatever fish, not whatever bread, no salty food, but basically fruit and water. Unfortunately, the criminal laws of that times in southern Europe (the scenario develops in Spain) didn't consider patients affected by cancer, so the police confiscated the marijuana plant to Juan. And poor cousin Juan, to relieve from his pain, was forced to resort to drug traffickers to get marijuana. The singer plays the song as she were Juan's cousin (maybe she is/was, I don't know if the fact really happened, but in any way it's the storytelling of a sad reality in Spain, as it was in the rest of south Europe, when the criminal law against personal use of drugs didn't consider patients suffering cause cancer and painful chemo). Obviously, the drug trafficking is a nasty crime of the worse and must be severely punished, but not the same a poor patient sufffering from cancer that shouldn't lack his/her pain relieve. Saya sangat menyukai lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh Ipank penyanyi Indonesia dari daerah Padang. Lagu yang dia dendangkan sangat menyentuh dengan dipadukan irama dan suara khasnya.
Dalam lagu ini bila direnungkan penuh dengan kesedihan dan pengkhianatan cinta. Lagu ini berjudul Lumpur dan Berlian, yang penuh dengan makna filosofi.
Lagu ini menceritakan seorang pemuda yang jatuhkan kepada seorang wanita, pemuda ini bekerja siang malam tanpa mengenal waktu, hasil dari memeras keringatnya diberikan kepada sang pujaan hati.
Namun keadaan berkata lain, sang pujaan hatinya tergiur akan hasrat duniawi, dan mengkhianati seorang pemuda yang tulus mencintainya.
Disini kita bisa melihat, yang mana Lumpur dan Berlian itu, betapa bodohnya wanita ini membuang nilai cinta sejati demi keinginannya yang semu. Wanita ini telah membuang Berlian di depan mata demi segudang lumpur yang menjanjikan kebahagian sesaat.

Berbicara tentang lagu sedih sebenarnya banyak yang saya sukai,dan salah satu lagu yang saya sukai adalah lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh penyanyi terkenal dari negeri Jiran Malaysia yaitu Datok Siti Nurhaliza,yang berjudul "air mata Syawal".
Lagu ini menceritakan tentang seorang anak yang bekerja di rantau orang dan saat hari lebaran idul Fitri tidak bisa pulang dan berkumpul dengan orang tua dan keluarga.
Hanya bisa berkomunikasi melalui telefon saja,disaat semua keluarga berkumpul merayakan hari raya,dia hanya sendiri di rantau orang dan saya juga pernah merasakan itu dulu.
Sedih sekali pastinya,tapi apa mau dikata keadaan tidak memungkinkan untuk pulang dan berkumpul bersama keluarga.

Sad songs... are there sad songs, or is it more about how we feel the moment we hear a certain tune, word, or phrase that reminds us of something?
A song I find sad and is in the first place about a tiny white flower growing in the Alps is "Edelweiss" which is written for the musical "The Sound of Music".
Theodore Bikel, the actor playing Von Trapp, could play guitar and was a folksinger. The musical is about World War II a time that shouldn't be repeated and we should learn from.
Edelweiss is the last song the Von Trapp family sings to distract and escape their country. Some fought others hit the road. It makes one think what is the best but also how bit one's love for a country is and how much we care about those we leave behind. If I think about it always the same question arises: how come people are not able to unite and say: no way I will fight.
If it comes to wars there are no winners except for a handful of businessmen.

I love this song so much that I even tried playing it on the piano...evokes peaceful feeling.
It's interesting how a song about a little flower (mostly ignored) can do that. I wouldn't say it gives me a peaceful feeling more like "home sweet home"

I remember very well this movie: my parents loved it very much and my mother-in-law also! It was into my favourite when I was a teenager.
