The green ball--synchronized Collie Surveillance team--Thursday Green
Don't look now,
But that little green ball really does glow in the dark,
which doesn't help when Prince loses it in the shrubberies and flower beds. It's hard to see at the best of times.
Green, or green? Choices! Choices!
The ball, the ball, the ball,
Poor little Bear can't get Prince to focus on anything else, and Bear won't even try to catch a ball, but he did learn Tug-of-War from Prince, who has moved on to the lofty Chuck-It ball.
The best toy you can get your dog is another dog,
unless that other dog ignores you for his Precious (the Chuck-It!).
Our neighbors brought over their newly acquired one-ish-or-almost-two year old red heeler gal, yesterday, but she was overwhelmed, and it will take some time and distance to get her playing with Bear while His Majesty, Prince, lords it over the ball. Nobody, but nobody, comes between him and the ball.
Callie will come around when she's ready,
little Punky Bear. Meanwhile, I'm here for you. Come sit with me in the sun, little Bear, and enjoy the last "hurrah" of summer greens, never mind that dogs are supposedly color blind:
"God light," our daughter called it when she was Sunday School age.
Or just... collie light!
