Awesome & Busy September 2018

Pheww, September has been a busy and tiring month for me as I've been travelling around here and there attending a few events around Malaysia and Singapore. My travelling started off from Sept 5th to the world's 3rd largest island, Borneo in a city called Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Borneo Blockchain Summit 2018

It's a one-day event was held at University Sabah Malaysia with everything organized and taken care by our proudly #TeamMalaysiaSabah Steemians, #TeamMalaysia's Witness, @bitrocker2020 and Steemxp (@danieldoughty, @veenang)

Not only this event is supported by our Assistant Minister of Education and Innovation Sabah but it promotes awareness and the understanding of the Blockchain towards businesses, governance and daily lives to Sabahan and hopefully Malaysian.

The event ended up as a successful and a celebration is inevitable, I'm happy to meet and work together with #TeamMalaysiaSabah (@veenang, @gelfire, @viverridae, @bboyady, @lizachong, @zamifara, @nickychu, @v1tko, @darryljonesjr, @angeljames, @alvinauh, @beveryjoe, @verasj, @celo769, @arwine, @audreyclaire, @kilathecla, @nytrie, @melindajamulis and @davidngtv) although is just a one-day event and I wish next events would be longer and double the awesomeness!

We all had a wonderful farewell dinner together with our speakers at the trying out some local Sabah traditional dishes and of course, can't miss out those traditional performance dances by the dancer.

Next day, we had a special day trip private island visit organized and arranged by @veenang, it's a 15-minute boat ride out from Kinarut town towards the open sea. Enjoy the sea wind, water sport and of course a meeting in the middle of the sea right, @buzz.lightyear, @harpreetmaan, @danieldoughty? 😂

It has been a wonderful journey and great hospitality as well in Kota Kinabalu but it's time to fly back towards the west to attend the next upcoming event that was invited by @joannewong's friend.

The journey took me towards the east coast of West Peninsula of Malaysia which is my first time ever been to Kuantan, using the Karak Highway up towards the mountains and cruising downwards on a pretty straight road which is very bored and sleepy drive for me 😅.

It took me about 2 hours+ to reach the accommodation that JL (@joannewong's friend) provided to us and first food that was greeted by us was the Musang King Durian 🙈 for the appetizer, just as our usual meetup combo meal 😂.

Congratulation to the Happy Couple, we'll be meeting up again soon in November and hopefully,​​ I'll get more time to explore Kuantan.

Consensus:​ Singapore

Right after the Kuantan trip, I'm up again for another visit down South to Singapore with @joannewong, @bitrocker2020 and @awesomeianist to attend the Consensus: Singapore that is located at Marina Bay Sands and of course few friendly faces are there as well to attend the event.

Besides​ attending the event, we also meet​ up​ with #TeamSingapore member (@fr3eze, @jrvacation (J), @culgin and @seanytan) after the event at downtown Orchard Mall. Steemfest is kinda the trending topic nowadays in Steem Community and everyone is discussing ​it.

Anyone from #TeamMalaysia or #TeamSingapore going for the Steemfest as well? Let me know as we'll be planning our journey together 😉. Finally,​ that's the end of my September journey and looking forward to ​more upcoming events ahead in TeamMalaysia and of course SteemFest.
