When did the Govt become our parent? HINT: it didn't!

Michelle Obama says that her husband was the "good parent" ... This implies that she along with most of the United Sheeple of America, believe that the government is your guardian. It is your parent, and you are its child. Parents make the rules and the child abides by them. If not you get in trouble. But in reality that is not the case at all. It's a psychological ploy that creates a subservient citizenship. In reality, the Government is the servant of the people. WE elect them. WE pay them. WE ask them to vote for OUR ideas. NOT the other way around.

In S&M relationships, this is known as 'topping from the bottom' And a person who is supposedly submissive, actually dominates by a set of rules and restrictions placed on the supposed Dominant Top. These rules actually take the power away and limit the Doms ability to actually Dominate.

The US Government has done exactly that. They have indoctrinated millions of youths into believing that the Govt is your parent and that if you get out of line, they, and they alone have the power to punish you. But that isn't really the case. The governments power only comes from the people. The rules they enforce are societies rules that we have agreed to allow them to enforce for the greater good. The government didn't create the laws, WE DID. The government only enforces them on our behalf as a matter of convenience.

This is exactly why we have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights. And a freedom of speech and a 2nd amendment. Because WE are the adults. We are the Doms. WE have the power to punish government when it gets out of hand. And indeed Its reached that time now.

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

Stop being the child and start being the PARENT!
