CLOSER

Each time I lift my eyes
To the sky
The clouds conceal Your lovely face
I deeply feel You
Too far away!
To see my struggles, trials, temptations, sufferings
Loneliness embraces me tenaciously
Its coldness chills me
And warmth of your love eludes me
But when I close my eyes in prayer
I ride on the wings of the wind
To reach up
And come closer to you
My God!
