Some old photos I found on iPhone backup long time ago.

These past few days I have been very busy with solving the problem of my old iPhone. This iPhone 6S Plus is very sturdy and old. I had dropped it million times and cracked the glass covers many times. Lately, I started losing my texts and unfinished blogs on my iPhone. I use this thing for blogging, taking photos and playing with various apps.

After discussing with staff of the phone shop and iStore, the conclusion was that I ought to get a new phone before my iPhone just went dark. I never bought extra memories on iCloud so I have the problem of backing up my data and transferring all the data to a new iPhone.There’s also the financial problem as I lost my part time jobs since the lockdown. My crypto and gold have looked after me well but the future is getting dicey and uncertain. I will have to find a part time job soon, it has been very difficult to get a job as the economy has been in a dire state.

I try to be positive and look at life on the bright side; there are people in much worse situations than me. I had friends who would take me out for nice meals and gave me treats sometimes. I could still keep on blogging whenever I have some quiet free time.

There’s so much to do in trying to move house so that I might be able to get some money for future plan. The global situation doesn’t look too good; a big war could take place in less than two years’ time.

Any way, I just bought a new iPhone 12 which was on special offer with big reduction and monthly payments in ten installments. The trouble began when I had to transfer old data to the new iPhone. The technician at iStore couldn’t do this as he couldn’t find my phone! I had to spend a whole day deleting over 3000 photos so that data could be backup in iCloud.

The staff at the phone shop were very helpful, providing me with free Wi-Fi and a quiet place to sit and wait. It took me two days and two visits to the same shop to finally did the transfer. I had to update the software first! I spent three to four hours inside the shop. But it was very nice experience and with little stress. I haven’t got all the backup data. Something has gone astray! However, I got some long forgotten photos I took five years ago!

These photos were from an old exhibition at a posh shopping mall. Things have changed so much over the years. The owner of all the antiques and Buddha statues had moved to a new venue to make a museum. The shopping mall has closed down four months ago! A lot more businesses will have to close down by the end of the year. Life is full of uncertainty. The important thing is to look after your health and well-being so we’ll have the strength and stamina to deal with all unexpected incidents in the near future.
