The Snow Moon

I already tried to photograph the rising full moon over the October Bridge once, and I succeeded, but not quite the way I would like it. But this time I achieved the desired result.

The Snow Moon was no longer full, but that evening it came out exactly where I needed it. I waited a long time in the cold in the middle of the river, and then a reddish glow appeared.

I armed myself with a telephoto lens with a 2x teleconverter and pointed the camera at where I once wanted to see the moon over the bridge.

I was lucky – I managed to catch the moon above the horizon, and as soon as it rose above the filmed scene, clouds flew in and it became overcast.

Actually, I wanted the moon to be under the bridge in the arch between the pillars, but this angle is impossible.

More precisely, it is possible only from the reverse side of the bridge.

And for this you need to wait for another time of the year...if at all there is such a position at the full moon.
