My poor father might gonna retire on me

Everything is nice...with rice.

My father is experiencing some lightheadedness or dizziness according to him and so my my mother told this to my brother which is the one who contacted the nearby clinic so that the doctor there can see what is the trouble about. The doctor had given a prescription of anti-vertigo to my father and then had instructed to go for doing lab tests to determine what is wrong to my father's health.
But my father has an elevated blood pressure and I think that it is the factor that makes him dizzy.. I overheard my parent's conversation that my father only gets dizzy or lightheaded for that mater if he tries to get up from a lying down position. Now my father looks sick and just wants to lay down all the time.
According to my mother he is saying that he might pass-away before I pass-away and that my mother should "take heart" of what "eventualities" would come but being weak-spirited himself. I just wished that my father is courageous but he is not a fighter and demonstrated this many times over throughout his life. He would rather give-up than to take a chance on something but he is what he is and I have to accept that fact.
Because of this health issue, he was not able to drive me to the dialysis clinic so my brother took the unfortunate responsibility to drive me with his car. I am glad that my brother bought a car although he have to pay for it for quite some years but at least he has a much better reliable car unlike his old one although that one has still a good engine and might run forever if taken-cared of like regularly replacing the fuel filter, oil change, timing belt, and all that maintenance checks like we all should with our cars new or old.
He already sold his old car and being already half-eaten by rust, he was able to get rid of it with some justified value. But the new owner is rest-assured that when going from point A to point B, he will get there. Even it is an inanimate object though it moves mechanically and with internal combustion system (Has a diesel engine), I still am missing it even though it is not a very comfortable car to be a passenger within as it has a leaf spring plus the fact that my father had fiddled with the front suspension which really makes you feel ever little bump in the road.
Without that car I wouldn't probably survived as a dialysis patient because it has been extensively used to drive me to and from the dialysis clinic for more than two decades until my sister bought a new car and gave us their old Toyota Corolla which is the one which we are using now. Now it is useless if no one will drive it to the dialysis center or to anywhere for that matter because I do not drive a car and most probably will not be able to because of my disability.
I hate the fact that I am dragging my parents because of my misfortune with the problem of the need to go back and forth to the dialysis center. I feel that my father is getting tired of this routine considering that he is doing it for more than score year already because he is not getting any younger, neither do anyone else but getting older for my parents is one of my greatest fear because it will mean so much trouble for me.
If my father would not get any better, then I will have to live with it and change routines and this will mean inconveniences for my siblings as they would take the responsibility. But at least our Barrio has an ambulance service which I can use to drive me either to and from or from the dialysis clinic and that is such a great support. However, the service is not a 100% reliable service especially the Ambulance which also can be used by other people in our barrio and it will result in conflict on scheduling or using it when I want to use it but if other patients is using it at that point, it will be a problem.
Actually, the problem about transportation will be the cost if I opt-out from using the free service of the ambulance because the cost for hiring a tricycle is expensive considering that I have to go back and forth to the dialysis clinic. I am not sure if there are "Uber-like" services around here that I can use but we have the "Grab app" equivalent and I have to look it up is all fails although I trust God that at least I will not face any problem of that sort, only maybe additional cost if I will get the need to hire a transport service.
My parents will going to the doctor's clinic today, I guess that my father's physician will going to prescribe him a different anti-hypertensive medicine if not adding dosage to what my father is already taking. Hypertension is quite easy to solve if you identify its cause, for this case, my father always use a fish dipping sauce whenever he eats, that is a big contributing factor about his hypertension issues. Then he also eats cheese which is salty and drinks milk which is fatty. He also drinks that 3-in-1 coffee which has a lot of additives and a factor as well. However my father will not change this and I think that his high blood pressure issue will not get totally solved, only patched for a while after a while.

Hola, amigo. La hipertensión es incurable. El hipertenso debe tomar pastillas diarias para evitar algún ataque. Y ciertamente, hay que decirle adiós a la sal. Saludos.

Salt is a big cause of hypertension. I experimented on using Sodium Bicarbonate tablets to make my blood/body less acidic, but because it is Sodium, it elevated my blood pressure to very high levels.
I realized the effects of Sodium should not be ignored because it is one root cause of hypertension and modifying our diet like cutting back its use will dramatically put us in a much better state of health.
Life’s challenges often test our resilience, especially when caring for aging parents while battling personal struggles. Wishing strength for you and your family as you navigate these difficult times. Stay strong.
