In front of the lost world.
There were no high cliffs in front of me that hid the lost world behind them and I did not make a round-the-world trip to find it, but it was no less a mysterious lost world.
I stood on solid ground where after a few steps endless swamps began keeping their secrets in their depths.
And on guard of this mysterious and inaccessible for a traveler world stood voracious and evil mosquitoes which buzzed circling above me as if warning that with each step towards the swamps there would be more and more of them.
