Falconry a typical day with Jonah-Watch a Falcon dive and fly by really close.

I was talking with my wife last night about how It has been fun to post things on Steemit. As we discussed what to post today, she said my last video did so well that maybe I should post another video. I was tempted to post another surf video, but wanted to also share something different. I have about 6 or 7 YouTube videos that I made and aside from family and a few friends no one really sees them. Some of them are fun. (At least to me they are). Most of them have about 50 -70 views but I do have one that got over 5000 views. It’s a video of my Brother Jonah, myself and his prairie falcon.

My brother Jonah is one of the most entertaining people to just hang around and watch. Not to say my other siblings are not entertaining and talented as well. It’s just that Jonah is always on an adventure. He is always looking for bugs, birds animals wherever he goes. He never stays put and will always take the dirt road over the paved one. Even if he's driving a sedan or coupe.

I decided while I was visiting him one weekend that I would pull out my IPhone 6s+ and shoot some video of him flying his bird and cover the typical Saturday with Jonah in the Fall and winter. This video is some of the cleanest phone video I have seen with regards to falconry. I was able to capture a lot without shaking and without losing a bird traveling at over 150 MPH from the frame.

The video starts with Jonah and Myself in a couple public parks in Utah prepping for the flights. Understand that Falcons eat pigeons so we need to have something for the bird to chase in order to give him the proper exercise and sustenance. My favorite park scene is when Jonah is sitting on the park bench like an old lady

The second portion is the buildup and the prep for taking the bird out to fly.()
The third and final portion is the Bird flying. There are a few really cool pieces in this section. One of my favorites is when the falcon is flying by within a few feet of me, it looks straight at the lens and cruises by.

It’s also funny to watch my brother stumble at the end on the icy ground.

The third selection of music really makes my kids laugh as it gets intense and robots start to talk, but I love the music selections and feel like it adds humor as well as makes the video entertaining to watch.

I think it got so many views because the falconry community is small and those guys will find it and share it and get it out there. Also, Falconry is beautiful to watch and people tend to want to see it because it is a novelty to them.
