Translating CONSUL Project | English-Turkish #5
Repository
Project Details
What is Consul?
CONSUL is a Citizen Participation and Open Government Application, originally developed for the Madrid City government.
Consul is an open software platform so any institution can use and modify it as they see fit, for free.
There will be local elections in my country in the near future, so I was interested with this project and I wanted to translate it. It's an amazing project for me. Who knows? Maybe in a short time my country will also use this application in the local municipalities.
You can find more details in my previous contributions.

Contribution Specifications
- Translation Overview
This is my 5th contribution to this project. I think I have taken an important step to localize the project. In this part, there were not untranslatable words too much. As I mentioned in the previous parts; new strings are added to the project almost every day.
I started to translate “general.yml” file now and I've translated half of the file with this part. I will finish “general.yml” file completely in my next contribution (Part 6).
- Languages
Source Language: English
Target Language: Turkish
- Word Count
Translated words: 1240
Total words (duplicate strings and static text excluded): 1214
Target language words: 1048
You can find my all contribution to the Consul Project details below;
1624 + 1298 + 1394 + 1434 + 1214 = 6964
Part1 + Part2 + Part3 + Part4 + Part5 = 6964 words translated.
