Tutorial: How to install DeSmuME Nintendo DS emulator and play Games on your own Windows PC

Greetings! Today I would like to share with you on how to play Nintendo 3DS games on your own Windows PC. I'll make a simple as possible tutorial for you folks.
What is DeSmuME?, DeSmuME which was formerly named as YopYop DS is a free and open-source Nintendo DS emulator which is suitable for Windows, Linux. The name DeSmuME was derived from "emu" which is a short word for "emulator" and being merged with *DS and ME results to a word DeSmuME. This emulator is written with C++ under the license of GNU GPLv2 and was stabilized during April 15, 2015
Requirements
- Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher
- Linux with a 2.6 kernel
- CPU must be 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or higher
- RAM must be 1 GB or higher
- ROM image file
- WinRAR
- And lastly "Stable Internet"
Quick Note: In this portion I am using a Windows OS, DeSmuME depends on the Visual C++ 2010 Runtime DLLs
Steps:
Go to this link just click the highlighted text DeSmuME, Since I am using a WINDOWS PC with a 64-bits. So I am clicking the link with Windows 64-bit(x86-64)

After you'd finished downloading, locate that file and extract it

After extracting the downloaded folder, go to that folder ang look for the file with ".exe" file. then double click it to open.

Once you open the ".exe" file the emulator will appear to your screen but then you can't play some games yet since you`ll be needing NDS ROMS to play

So that we can play a single game with our emulator, We will be needing a NDS ROM image file, in my case I already have a NDS ROM file a POKEMON GAME one of my favorite game up to now.
Extract the ROM image file you have to your specified location. (In case you don't have any ROM's available you can google search it and look for your desired game

Once finished extracting, go to your DeSmuME emulator folder you extracted lately and create a folder for storing your NDS ROMS I named mine as "ROMS"

This is the sample extracted NDS ROM file, you must move this to your ROM storage file in your DeSmuME emulator folder

Once done moving the NDS ROM file, click to open the DeSmuME emulator

After clicking it, it will direct you to all ROM present in your "ROM storage folder"

And that's it! You successfully installed the emulator and loaded a NDS ROM file, you may enjoy playing all those 90's games during your childhood days!

Additional info, for your ease of access whenever you want to play this emulator just follow these steps

You may now just click DeSmuME emulator right away in the taskbar

Great! we have successfully installed the emulator plus we can click it right away in the taskbar section.
That's it for now folks! Until next time bye! :)
