Translating Quasar Framework | Open Source Tutorial | English-Dutch #2
Project Details
The Quasar Framework is a node and vue based system for making websites and apps. The project has three main things that they will focus on:
- Documentation
- In-app translation strings
- Tutorials, guidelines, etcetera
Quasar Framework is a fresh new project for the Davinci/Utopian Translators to work on, and I felt like starting a translation project from scratch. The project on Crowdin has still to be filled with documentation, for now it exists of a very well-written Open Source Tutorial. This Tutorial is what I'll be translating the coming weeks. Even though I know the basics of Open Source I like the idea of translating the Tutorial since it will refresh my knowledge and probably teach me a few new things in the meanwhile.

Contribution
This is my second contribution to translating to Open Source Tutorial within the Quasar Framework. As the tutorial mentions: although the examples are taken from the Quasar Framework they are true for other Open Source Projects. This provides me and other readers with a nice insight in both Quasar Framework and Open Source.
I translated 1023 words which makes the translation of this tutorial now 47% complete. This part had less confusing definitions since I already figured those out in Part #1 together with with @misslasvegas. This part mainly spoke about why adding to the open source community is a good thing, how 'permissive' you want your open source licences to be, and how to discover and check licenses while working on projects.
What's up next
I expect to finish translating this tutorial in two more parts. It's a pretty well written tutorial with clear and precise sentences which makes it a pleasure to translate. I hope I'll be able to do two more translations this week.
Thank you for contributing to the translation project for Davinci-Utopian @altrosa!
This was your second contribution for the Quasar Framework Documentation, and I was able to see that this time around, you were used to the terms. Very well translated with only two minor things I had to adapt, purely from an aesthetic point of view.
It's great to be able to proofread this project, because it also teaches me a thing or two. Working with you is a pleasure and I hope we will be able to continue this collaboration for a long time to come.
I am looking forward to the remaining two parts of this project!
