We brought memories back in Agatti, Lakshadweep

Dear Steemians, I confess that once I had almost decided to resign from my job and start travel blogging as my full-time job, and the first thing that came to my mind was to search for a suitable resort on a peaceful island. I started working on that and selected Lakshadweep for my next trip.

 
You guessed it right; this decision was based on my personal experience because my wife and I had spent a nice time there, so I was convinced about my decision. I had even planned everything in detail, but my boss did not accept my resignation. However, he agreed to grant me a leave for a week, and we planned a trip to Lakshadweep.

What do you think is a second honeymoon? I guess it's a a special event for a special vacation even if it's not exactly the same romantic feeling for a couple married for a long time. But definitely something to celebrate about, and we wanted to do that.

We immediately booked our favorite Agatti resort in Lakshadweep as were scheduled to go to India. I love their statement which I am mentioning here. At the time of this trip in2012, we were in Delhi so we took a flight to Agatti Island, Lakshadweep via Kochi in Kerala State.

Sure, even if we were not newlyweds, we still wanted to relive our experience. We selected that resort in Lakshadweep, which had various packages well within our budget, and every package offered what we needed. We had our previous experience with this resort, so it took us no time to decide which package was best suitable for us.

We opted for the "Dream Honeymoon Package" for 4 days and 3 nights for AU$ 999.

They call this project "Honeymoon Special," which is more than merely basking under the sun but gives you an ample opportunity for roaming in the lap of Mother Nature. I knew two of us would absolutely love the beauty of beaches with sugary sand, palm groves, and a beautiful stay at a separate hut of your own with all modern facilities.

They offer different packages with an understanding of their customers' comfort, privacy, and adventure when they select any of these, which are all as exciting and wonderful as they come.

They at Lakshadweep Resort try their best to provide expertise in honeymoon travel, and they know the needs of newlyweds, so they provide you with the best of what you need, keeping you, the lovebirds, in their mind for this once-in-a-lifetime experience even if it wasn't our first.

You have direct access to the beach from this hut, and this area is fully secured and peaceful. We take special care that no intruder disturbs the honeymooning couples. The distance between the two huts is at least 10 meters. In-house service on demand, breakfast, and one meal, either lunch or dinner, served in your hut are included in the package.

They arrange cabs, boats, scuba, and snorkeling facilities on reasonable charges through the best agencies in the business. This package is exclusive of fare and visa charges. I mentioned Visa charges because we had planned it from Australia. Drinks were available in the resort’s bar and served in our hut on demand for a reasonable price, but with a service charge.

This package included hotel and airport transfers, a welcome drink, and an air-conditioned hut with all modern facilities, with a modern bathroom with 24 hours hot and cold water and a queen-size bathtub. The hut is only 50 meters away from the beach within the resort’s own private beach.

Here newlywed couples find one of the most romantic experiences and, of course, wonderful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The package includes breakfast and one meal either in a fine dining restaurant of their choice at the resort’s 3 different restaurants or in their hut/room at no extra charge. The package includes one of our specified day trips of your choice. Liquor served in the room or hut is charged extra at a reasonable price.

The package includes a special date night dinner for you, for you’ve just got married, and people should know it. Their tagline is "You are going to spend the rest of your lives together, and we appreciate it." They play music for you and a drink on the house for the guests present in the restaurant. When they played music for us, we were smiling and enjoying it because even if it wasn't our first, it brought back the memories in our minds.

They offer scuba & snorkeling at the island of your choice. You will pay for the equipment and other accessories at the time of booking. Please note that a guide with a camera for underwater photography is available on demand.

A beautiful motorboat/ferry trip is also available, which takes about 2 hours. Please inquire at the travel desk for booking your boat in advance.

If you don’t like spending time in a crowded area, this place is for you because Lakshadweep with its low population and vast spread beaches is one of the best for peace loving people.

You can visit Lakshadweep any time of the year, but you will have to check the transport services and the travel restrictions to make your travel plan accordingly. I feel the best time to visit Lakshadweep is November through March, but I have added May because it has multiple reasons of interest for us. One of the best activities for newlyweds is scuba diving and snorkeling. But then I feel any time is the best time for newlyweds, so just make a plan according to your convenience.
