Return match between Metroflex football club and StayFit football club ended in our favour. 6.4 scores

We eagerly awaited a return leg after going head to head with team metroflex last year which ended draw. Then, I got this message early this February.

	the notice of the rematch

It sounded good to me as my clients had been asking me about the rematch. We were supposed to go to their home but it seems they don't have Field, hence, they agreed to use our field but paid for every bill that was supposed to be paid in preparation. Like designing the image, paying for the maintenance of the field and other things.

I was asked to coordinate everything since my location will be used.

For the image, I contacted the designer who delivered fast but it wasn't satisfactory. Another designer gave us something better. The 2 are below

We then proceeded to make other necessary arrangements like the jersey for my team. Then we made our selections for the players. Unfortunately for us, some of our key players won't be around, like Alli001, Bernard, Kidi40 and others. It was a course for worry and a reason to postpone the match but the Chairman of my team and others advised that we go ahead with it after all there is no money attached. Even if we lose, it won't be bad to play. Well, I had to key in.

We arranged for water and a little chops.

The day came. The big day for the match. On Saturday, February 15, 2025. I went out as usual, trained the clients that wants to exercise. Others were very lazy about training and even I myself was lazy about it. I was eagerly waiting for the match. That match was supposed to start by 9am. But the Metroflex team came by 9.40 am. We finally began by 10am. It was a combination of 10 malea and 2 females in each of the teams. I played from the beginning with another lady.

These guys are dreaded. They intimidated us the last time with their entourage and big chests. But we looked beyond those things this time and played them. At a point, the fitness President, that is the fitness instructors president, the Apostle himself came around and was willing to play. I was not surprised because he already chatted me up when he saw the advert and told me what is on the screenshot below

It means that he can play for any team. So while in the field, I saw him come in. That means that a change was made. At the beginning, I thought he was not going to be serious. I feared that he might just be in our team to make us lose. But I was wrong. Soon, the first half ended with a draw, goalless.

After a break, the second half began but without ladies. This is one of their challenges. Their ladies aren't strong players. They get tired easily and they don't have anyone to substitute. Men played about 20 minutes into the game, they gave us a goal. I felt bad. In fact, I concluded that it was the end, but it wasn't. After 10 minutes, we equalised and gase who scored the goal? It was the Apostle himself, the President of the fitness instructors.

Happiness filled the air again from my side. Fans cheered us up and my team was encouraged. Second half ended 1.1 but the referee said that there will be a penalty kick to end the game since it was draw game during the first leg. That announcement made me faint. From my observation, their keeper is better than ours. But everyone supported the idea. I concluded that we will lose the game.

The selection was made, 5 men from each side. They took turns to play. Their 3rd striker played and missed. That was to our favour. We jubilated but the game wasn't over yet until the last man from my team played and scored deciding the game since was only remaining only one man from their team. We won with this final score, making it 6:4 to our favour.

I couldn't believe my eyes and ears. It was as if in a dream. I was so excited and so was my team and all the clients. My fears turned into joy! We jubilated and danced around, but our opponents went home sad but they couldn't help it. Wow 😲! Incredible! The highlight of the match as well as the jubilation is in the video below

But, my team and team HFC still have outstanding game to play. We are waiting for them to invite us . Their instructor saw the advert of this game and and the news about our win and he congratulated us. He told me that they are making arrangements to invite us.

Then I have also spoken to another fitness group for a match. It will be only ladies. Arrangements are ongoing. Let's see if it will workout.

I may not be the best, but the Almighty is really blessing my efforts. He looks for sincere efforts to bless and I can testify to the truthfulness of that word. He alone will be praised for whatever success I am recording.

Enough pictures weren't taken that day because we didn't even remember. We were mostly focused on the game, besides the people that have love for picture taking weren't available that day. But few persons recorded the videos I uploaded and few pictures. All the same, the joy is the reward. I am happy 😊 😊 😊.
