Education Map #2 - "Keloka Preparatory School"

Today, I want to share about my school, which is located in the Keloka Residential Area in Parbatipur, Bangladesh. It started as a kindergarten and later became a half-registered government school.

Since my father was a government employee, we lived in the residential colony, and I was lucky to study in this beautiful school. I completed my primary education here up to class four, and I have so many wonderful memories from those days.

One of the best things about my school was the excellent facilities, which are not common in most primary schools. Since it is inside a residential area, the environment is peaceful and well-maintained. There is a small but lovely garden inside the school, adding to its beauty.

Right in front of the school, there is a big playground. I took part in several sports events there, and I also had countless fun moments playing with my childhood friends. The playground was a special place where we laughed, ran, and created unforgettable memories.

Back in my school days, there were special vans to bring students from faraway villages. Unfortunately, these vans are no longer in service due to a decrease in the number of students. I hope this facility will be reopened soon as more students are admitted.

The classrooms are neat and clean, and one thing that always fascinated me was the picture of the solar system on the wall. It made learning more interesting. Nowadays, schools focus more on practical teaching, something we didn’t have back then. This method makes learning easier and more enjoyable for students.

Another exciting addition is a small park beside the school. It has fun rides for kids, which were not there when I was a student. I am happy to see that the school is improving and offering better facilities for students.

Apart from great facilities, the school has some dedicated and experienced teachers. Some of my teachers have retired, but a few are still there, continuing to educate young minds. I feel proud that they are still spreading the light of knowledge in this wonderful school.
