Assalam-0-alaikum

How are you all steemians? I hope you all steemians will be safe and sound by the grace of Allah Almighty and I'm fine too Alhamdulillah. Today I am here to share my participation in the steem learning challenge season 23 week 5 which is hosted by @sergeyk.

SLC S23 Week5 || Coordinates&Vectors

Task 1. Tell about the number line and the coordinate plane. When did you first learn about coordinates? Was it difficult?

The number line is considered a fundamental concept in the mathematics that that act as a visual representation of the real numbers. The number line is a straight line where each point correlate to a real number.The number line is usually marked with equally spaced intervals, and this allow for a clear understanding of the relationships between the numbers.

The centre of the number line is commonly labelled as the 'zero' with the numbers which are extending on the right side are called as the positive numbers and which are present on the left side are named as the negative numbers.

coordinator

It is made up of the two lines which are perpendicular to each other. One is the X axis which is present horizontally and the other line is present vertically which is called as the y axis. The origin is that point where the X axis and the y axis intersect and this is shown by the coordinates' (0,0)'.This plane facilitates the representation of the ordered pairs, which are in the form of the 'X' and 'y'.

Here the 'X' is called the horizontal position and the 'y ' represents the vertical position.The system permits the plotting of the points, lines and shapes and this system composing the basis for more concepts in the algebra and geometry.

Example

In the coordinate planes, each point is identified by its co-ordinate.The point on the plane indicates a position that is along the X axis and the other units along the y axis.

The learning of the coordinates is in the middle schools where these terms are introduced to the students.Some individuals find it difficult to understand about the learning of the coordinates but with practice it can be interesting.

Task 2. Connect the pairs of points with vectors. Which vectors are formed? Show these vectors on the plane. A(-3, 11), B(4,7), C(0,4), D(4,0), E(-4,-7), F(11,3). If all vectors are shown, there will be too many of them, so display only a few. For example 5 or 6))

Vector

1000078044.jpg

When we name a vector , the first point show its starting point and the second point shows its ending point. A vector represents the direction and it has two points the first one is the starting point and the other one is the end point.
The coordinates of the vector is obtained by subtracting the coordinates of the first end from the end point.
AB = (-3-4, -1-6) = ( - 7, -7 ).
The coordinates of the vector AB is ( -7, -7).

Solution

Task 3. Place the vectors a(3,7), b(-1,-3), and c(1,5) on the plane.Construct the vector a + b + c.

Task 4. Place two random points and determine their coordinates.Create a vector from these points and write its coordinates.Construct a vector that is twice as large as the created one.

Task 5. Construct three arbitrary vectors: a, b, k.Build the vectors u = a + b and v = b - k.Then construct u + v and u - v.

this is all possible and good, but it should have been done in geogebra https://www.geogebra.org/calculator

rework in Geogebra

Sure I will do
