There is a second raceme on the way
Close-up of the centre of the aloe, it's very pink because it's been extremely cold this winter
Beautiful Coral aloe, it must be really happy in that spot
It's finally starting to look good, it was really struggling planted under a pine tree. Then it spent a few months languishing in a shady spot while I waited for new roots to form but it's gone from strength to strength in that extremely sunny spot
They are beautiful, easy to grow and tough. One of my favourite aloes
That's a happy, hard-grown specimen: what are the white marks on the leaves?
Unfortunately Agave running bugs have made a transition from USA to here and they are hell to get rid of
I've heard that spraying every few weeks is effective. The problem is all the other insects that get killed too
