RE: Reputation Score: 62 - In 27 Days & My Next Steemit Goals!
Is it any better than a whale could simply spam upvote a bunch of their friend's posts to do the same thing, worse actually, than purchasing bots? That would also quickly raise a person's reputation. There is no easy and simple "fix" for how reputation works.
It isn't just bots in other words that cause the problem.
Also, a reputation even in the 40's is a good sign. It means you've been doing good things. Yes, a person can get into the 60's or even the 70's very quickly depending on who is upvoting them, but would they stay there if they are doing bad things? I don't think they would.
The entire history of their reputation is all there for us to see too.
No they wouldn't stay there if they are doing any bad things, but there are things that are neither bad, nor good.
Would someone care if one isn't doing any good?
There is quite a difference in whales voting someone and bid bots upvotes.
I am not entirely against both or anyone either, I just don't support the idea of bid bot upvoting oneself.
Bid bots would be better if someone gifts a big upvote to others.
I'd rather have bots than control people. I like the full disclosure bot for this (the one that replies to posts that heavily use bots with the report showing that use).
