Architectural Interpretation 2 - in a Hairdresser
Hi, In the architectural commentary, I wanted to share a hairdresser I went to in this post.
It's been a long time since hairdressers or other definitions of barber shops have moved away from their old fixed designs. In the barber shops we remember in the 90s, it was usually always the same in shape. Armchair, smaller mirrors, one brush that is applied to everyone's face, a manual razor used repeatedly without cleaning, materials with fixed and simple brands on the counter...
I liked the cabinet layout in this shop I entered. Instead of washing the towels, which were few in the old barber system, and drying them on the hanger, he placed many towels and ready-made in the cupboard.
In the middle, he has created a good cabinet layout with a large and beautiful framed mirror. In terms of material, it keeps a wide variety and a large number of ready-made items. Shampoos, soaps, creams, lotions, refills...
No scattered newspapers or puzzles in the seating. It was nice to have the newspaper and crossword puzzle though. It increased the children's interest in puzzles. When I went to the barbershop when I was a kid, I would look directly at the puzzles.
Although the newspapers were published in our country with the aim of blinding, not enlightening, they still had an effect on reading.
The layout here is nice.
Good design.
